Thembinkosi Lorch’s fine form in Morocco continues unabated as the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns stole the show last night when Wydad Casablanca defeated Asante Kotoko 5-1.
Lorch was on fire as he created a goal and scored from the penalty spot.
He created the goal for Aziz Ki in the second half in the 5-1 drubbing of the Ghana-based Kotoko.
The cut back for Aziz was after the midfield maestro beat his man with a first touch to enter the box and played a low cut back cross for Aziz who calmly finished.
The Morocco side won 1-0 in Accra a week ago and knocked out Kotoko 6-1 on aggregate to earn their place in the Caf Confederation Cup group stage.
Lorch has also been a subject of Bafana Bafana return given his rich vein of form in North Africa but it does not seem that the national team technical side are keen on giving him a chance as yet.
The continuation of brilliant displays by Lorch will surely make national selectors notice and have no choice to call him for Bafana Bafana.
