Following the most recent game of the series, reporters directly asked LeBron whether the upcoming matchup might be his final appearance for the Lakers, but the forward refused to reveal his plans.

Reports suggest that the relationship between LeBron and the Lakers isn't as solid as it once was. The team is gradually being built around Luka Dončić, and rumors linking James with a departure from Los Angeles are becoming more frequent. One of the most likely scenarios being discussed is a return to Cleveland for a farewell season in the NBA.
I want LeBron to play for as long as he wants. He's still performing at the highest level and doesn't look 41 at all. I have no indication that he's considering retirement,
