French winger Moussa Diaby is making his return to the Leverkusen squad.
Details: According to renowned reporter NocksVon, writing for respected outlet Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen has reached a verbal agreement with Saudi club Al-Ittihad over the transfer of the 27-year-old French forward. The parties are now actively exchanging documents to finalize the deal officially.
Negotiations between the clubs have been ongoing for several weeks. The player himself has given his full consent to the move and return to Germany, where head coach of the Werkself, Carles Martínez Novell, plans to actively utilize the Frenchman on the right wing of the attack.
It's worth noting that Moussa Diaby already wore the colors of the German club from 2019 to 2023, making 172 appearances in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen, scoring 49 goals and providing 47 assists.
