Andreas Christensen will continue his career at Barcelona, putting pen to paper on a new deal with the Catalan giants.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old defender has reached an agreement with Barça for a contract extension until June 2028.

Christensen's current contract runs until June 30, 2026, but both sides have already agreed to extend it for another two seasons.

The defender was approached by two clubs — one from Italy and one from Poland. However, the Dane's priority remained to continue his journey with the Blaugrana.

Now Barcelona secures an experienced centre-back for the squad, solving one of their key personnel questions for the coming years.

Reminder: Earlier, Lamine Yamal commented on Lionel Messi's hat-trick against Algeria.
