In the German city of Stuttgart, the prestigious WTA 500 clay court tournament is drawing to a close. Earlier, Elena Rybakina secured her spot in tomorrow's final with a victory over Iga Swiatek, and now her opponent has been determined. In a tough match against Marketa Vondrousova (WTA 8), Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk (WTA 27) emerged victorious.

The first set went to a tiebreak, which Kostyuk confidently won, while in the second set, there was less of a struggle.

Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine, 27) - Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic, 8) - 7:6 (7:2), 6:2.

Rybakina boasts 9 wins in WTA tournaments, including one in the Grand Slam series. It's worth noting that Elena has already triumphed twice this year - in Brisbane and Abu Dhabi. For Kostyuk, this final will be only the third of her career. Last year, she won in Austin, while this year, she lost the decisive match in San Diego. The girls have played three matches against each other, with Kostyuk winning two of them. Despite this, the favorite for tomorrow's final will be the representative of Kazakhstan.
